What to expect with a JourneyWorks RV Orientation
An Experience Tailored to You
We strive to give you an orientation to your unique situation, taking into consideration your specific RV and how you plan to use it. To help us prepare for this we provide an up- front phone interview, up to 30 minutes, a day or two prior to the orientation appointment. This will allow us time to prepare and give you the greatest benefit.
Travel & Camping Tips
During the orientation we provide tips from our experience and that of others to help you with finding your RV groove. One of the biggies is organization. Laurie is an expert at this and will provide many helpful suggestions. Another is weight management. Ernie has a lot of experience with this and could be coaxed into passing on what he has learned.
How-To Guidance
We are do-it-yourselfers. Over the years we have learned things the hard way and the easy way. Our goal is to minimize what you have to learn the hard way. An example is RV power management. We learned about this the hard way (expensive and inconvenient), so we can pass our knowledge on to you so you can learn it the easy way.
Maintenance Pointers
Preventative maintenance is a huge need in the RV world. Whether you hire someone to do it for you or do it yourself, you need to stay on top of it in order to have worry free adventures and to help your rig retain its value.
Checklist Recommendations
We travel with a fifth wheel and our "Hitch and Go" list has saved our bacon more than once. We provide suggestions for you to create your own checklist(s) tailored to your needs and style.
